What is the SCTA?
Our Mission: to support the students and programs of Solano College Theatre through scholarships, production support and by raising awareness of its programs and productions throughout the community.
Solano College Theatre Association (SCTA) is the non-profit volunteer organization that is the fundraising arm of Solano College Theatre. The individuals who make up the SCTA board are dedicated, generous people who enjoy the theatre and arts in our community and are supportive of theatre education at Solano Community College.
Through their generosity and volunteer spirit, the SCTA raises funds to help Solano College Theatre produce quality theatre in Solano County. In addition, their efforts to raise funds for scholarships make educational theatre possible for our students. Through these scholarships, students are able to attend the Actor Training Program as well as participate in SCT productions without having to pay the over $60 enrollment fee required for the production classes.
To say the very least, Solano College Theatre, the Actor Training Program and student productions would not survive without the SCTA’s generous support.
There are a number of ways that you can help the SCTA in their mission to support theatre education in Solano County.
